100-Wave Challenge
Battle through up to 100 consecutive enemy waves. Each wave grows progressively harder, testing your endurance, resource management, and combat mastery to the limit.
Voidrax Pathfinder System
Personalise your challenge with the Voidrax Pathfinder. Customise difficulty parameters, enemy compositions, and environmental modifiers to tailor each run to your skill level.
Leaderboards & Rewards
Compete for high scores on global leaderboards. Earn exclusive rewards including unique weapon cosmetics, character skins, and special titles that has your achievements.
Endless Replayability
With randomised wave compositions and the Pathfinder customisation system, no two runs are the same. Experiment with different builds and strategies to push deeper into the Voidrax Dimension.
Surge of Voidrax: Strategy Guide
Preparation Before Entering
- Max out your preferred weapon forms: upgrade materials are plentiful, so invest in at least two weapon types before attempting high waves.
- Stock up on healing items: the 100-wave gauntlet allows limited rest between waves; bring the best recovery items available.
- Equip the Ruby Necklace: this health booster from the Deluxe Edition gives you extra survivability in the early-mid waves.
Wave Progression Strategy
- Waves 1-30: Conservative play. Learn the wave patterns and conserve healing items. Use basic combos and save your special abilities.
- Waves 31-60: Moderate aggression. Enemy density increases and elite variants appear. Start using abilities strategically, but keep one charged for emergencies.
- Waves 61-80: Full combat. Multiple elite enemies spawn simultaneously. Prioritise targets and use the full extent of your moveset. Parry timing becomes essential.
- Waves 81-100: Boss rushes and final gauntlet. Each wave may include mini-bosses. Conserve nothing: use all resources, abilities, and healing as needed.
Recommended Builds
- Balanced Build: Sword form (primary) + Gauntlet form (secondary). Good for all wave types.
- Speed Build: Dagger form (primary) + Chain form (secondary). Maximises mobility and combo potential, ideal for players confident in their dodging.
- Power Build: Greatsword form (primary) + Spear form (secondary). High damage output but slower. Best for players who can create openings with parries.
Cinematic & Visual Enhancements
The November 2025 update also brought significant visual and narrative upgrades:
- Revamped cutscenes: Enhanced character expression animations for more lifelike emotion during key story moments.
- Improved global lighting: New lighting and shadow effects heighten atmosphere across all environments.
- Environmental lip-sync: Characters now have mouth movements synced to environmental voice lines, adding immersion.
- Performance optimisations: Smoother frame rates during intense combat sequences and in densely populated areas.
📦 Patch 1.103 (April 28, 2026)
Five months after the Surge of Voidrax update, Ultizero Games released Patch 1.103: a substantial free update adding new content, quality-of-life has, and performance improvements.
New Content
- Draconic Series Appearance: A new cosmetic set featuring dragon-inspired armour and weapon skins. Free for all players.
Quality-of-Life Improvements
- D-Pad weapon switching: Controller users can now switch weapon forms using the D-pad, significantly speeding up mid-combat form changes.
- Improved menu navigation: Faster scrolling in inventory and skill tree menus.
- Enhanced auto-targeting: Camera and lock-on improvements for better tracking of fast-moving enemies.
Optimisations & Bug Fixes
- PC performance: Improved frame rates on mid-range GPUs, reduced stuttering in large combat encounters.
- Memory usage: Reduced RAM footprint, particularly in later game areas with dense enemy spawns.
- Crash fixes: Resolved rare crashes related to specific boss phase transitions and Surge of Voidrax wave 80+ encounters.
- Save file stability: Fixed an edge case where save files could become corrupted after extended gameplay sessions.
Note from Ultizero: Aside from minor hotfixes, Patch 1.103 is expected to be the final major content update. Lost Soul Aside is now considered a complete and finished experience by the developer.
